Vos droits

Privacy

Ink Orbit works without an account: your cards, decks and settings then stay on your device. The account is optional and only used to sync your data between your devices. No trackers, no ads, no data selling.

Without an account

Collection, wants, trade list, decks, value history, settings, lore counter and mystery card games and trophies are stored in the browser's local storage; an offline copy of the app, catalogue, prices and images you have seen is kept in the browser cache. Clearing the site's data removes everything; Settings › Backup lets you keep a copy in a file.

With an account (optional)

Sign-in uses Firebase Authentication (Google): your email address (and a password we never see) or, with Google, your email address, name and profile picture. Cloud Firestore (Google) keeps one document per account: your collection, wants, cards kept out of trades, decks and a few settings (currency, card language, copies kept, trade-list nickname), with the last change date and a random device identifier; only your account can read or change it. Data is stored on Google servers in the European Union or the United States depending on the Firebase project configuration; Google Ireland Ltd and Google LLC act as processors. It is kept until you delete your account (Settings › My account › Delete my account), which erases the account and its online copy. Sign-in keeps a session in browser storage (and Google's own cookies for its sign-in window); no analytics or advertising cookies. When signing out, you choose to keep your cards on the device or erase them.

What else leaves your device

Card images from cards.lorcast.io (and, for a few cards, api.lorcana.ravensburger.com); fonts from Google Fonts; the Firebase code from www.gstatic.com, only if you sign in; the scan engine (Tesseract) from cdn.jsdelivr.net — photos are read on your device and never uploaded; a share link contains your trade list itself.

Your rights

You can access (shown in the app, exported by Settings › Backup), correct and erase your data (account deletion) and object to its processing (do not create an account). Contact: see the legal notice. You may also lodge a complaint with your data protection authority (in France, the CNIL).
